هَجَرَ - [هـ ج ر]. (ف: ثلا. لازمتع. م. بحرف). هَجَرْتُ، أَهْجُرُ، اُهْجُرْ، مص. هَجْرٌ، هِجْرَانٌ.

 

1."هَجَرَ الرَّجُلُ" : تَبَاعَدَ.

The man parted his way.

 

2."هَجَرَ بَيْتَهُ" : تَرَكَهُ.

He left his house.

 

 المدثر آية  5وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُر (قرآن).

And leave the idols.

 

 3."هَجَرَ الزَّوْجُ زَوْجَتَهُ" : اِعْتَزَلَ عَنْهَا وَلَمْ يُطَلِّقْهَا.

The husband separated from his wife (i.e. not divorce)

 

النساء آية 34 وَاللَّاتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ(قرآن).

But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed;

4."هَجَرَ فِي نَوْمِهِ" : هَذَى.

He spoke during his sleep.
